Ok, this news story is over a year old, but I just caught wind of it. Apparently a guy had an adverse reaction to a stop-smoking drug called Chantix which, according to his girlfriend, resulted in his death. Here’s the kicker-he died of a gunshot wound inflicted by his neighbour. He was disoriented and agitated, knocked on his neighbour’s door, and got blown away for it.
The thing is, the article mentions this as if it were perfectly reasonable that the neighbour shot him to death for pounding on the door. After all, Americans, or at least Texans, routinely shoot people on their doorsteps.
So does Chantix lead to death? Only if you live in Texas!
